What is House Sitting?
House sitting is a mutually agreed upon arrangement in which the sitter gets to live rent-free in exchange for home care responsibilities, such as taking care of the pets, performing general maintenance duties and making sure that everything runs smoothly just as if the owner was at home.*

I sit for houses with or without pets for anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months.

How Does It Work?
It’s pretty simple, really.
- We talk about your needs.
- If we’re both comfortable we agree on dates.
- I show up on the start date.
- You take off knowing someone is taking care of your home.
- I keep you updated on how everything is going.
- When your trip is over you come home to a clean, cared for home.
That’s it!
What Others Say
Here are some quotes from past homeowners I’ve sat for:
Lis was exemplary in all ways — excellent communicator, reliable, respectful of us, our house, and especially our (it turns out) very shy dog. We were so happy with Lis, we are trying to change the dates of a future trip so she can come back. She’s a keeper.

Elisabeth was a great house/dog sitter. I recommend to her everyone looking for a sitter.
